Video of “Dimensional Analysis and turbulent jets” demonstration

Here is the video of the “Dimensional Analysis and turbulent jets” demonstration. The full video is here.

The video shows two jets with the left jet having the lower source velocity. The video illustrates the difficulties in running the demonstration that should be kept in mind. First, it is hard to keep the syringes stable and pointing directly down. This results in the jets wobbling and appearing thicker than hey are. Second, the jet outflow mixes with ambient water and fills the tank with dyed water meaning that you can only run it once without re-filling the tank.
